Wednesday June 3, 2026 1:10pm - 2:00pm CDT
Limited Capacity seats available
Participants in this session will learn about the spectrum of college transfer credits and how they move into other academic institutions in ways that maximize transfer opportunities for students, families, and CCMR funding. We will discuss transfer of academic credits, including AP, IB, and dual credit options, including potential limitations of these for specific populations. We will also explore the distinct world of technical/workforce credits coming from rapidly expanding CTE options and schools, including the beautiful campus coming to Plano ISD this Fall. Technical/workforce credits do not transfer into academic institutions in the same way, but knowing the options and opportunities that are available for students earning these credits is increasingly essential for leadership in academic contexts.
